Premier calls for upholding Bahraini customs, traditions

Manama, July 4 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa stressed the need to preserve the historic and civilisational heritage of Bahrain for the posterity. He underlined the need to hold on to the Bahraini inherent customs and traditions and promote them among the youth in order to foster their patriotism and loyalty and motivate them to further contribute to the nation’s growth and prosperity. HRH the Prime Minister was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today members of the royal family, officials and economic figures. He discussed with them various issues, lauding cooperation between the executive and legislative branches to achieve citizens’ aspiration for more progress and prosperity. He affirmed Bahrain’s development momentum nationwide through the implementation of many projects in many fields, including mainly housing, education, health and infrastructure. He also stressed the government’s keenness to ensure those projects are carried out according to high quality standards to meet citizens’ aspirations. HRH the Premier asserted that Bahrain is on the right track of anchoring the bases of modern and comprehensive development at all levels while relying on the Bahraini people who are the pillars and target of growth.
