Bahraini-Sudanese relations discussed

Manama, July 10 (BNA): Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa received outgoing Sudanese Ambassador to Bahrain Abdulrahman Khalil Ahmed. They discussed strong fraternal relations between both countries and their development at all levels mainly in light of growing official visits exchanged by both countries including mainly the visit of Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al Beshir to Bahrain last April during which he held talks with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on solid historic bilateral relations. The visit resulted in HM the King’s directives to take the necessary procedures to open Bahrain’s embassy in the Sudanese capital Khartoum. The Capital Governor lauded the Sudanese ambassador’s role in bolstering bilateral relations and presented him with a commemorative gift, wishing him success in his future diplomatic duties.
