Premier receives BBA President

Manama, July 10 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today President of Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa who presented him with a copy of a book on the recent Bahraini achievements in basketball thanks to BBA’s development schemes. HRH the Prime Minister lauded the momentum spearheaded by Shaikh Isa to develop Bahraini basketball and boost its presence at the regional and international level. He also praised the efforts of BBA President to promote Bahrain’s honourable participation in GCC, Asian, Arab and international competitions. HRH the Premier asserted support to Bahraini sport to bring about further achievements and uphold the kingdom’s name in various events. The BBA President thanked HRH the Prime Minister for his keenness on developing Bahraini sport, describing his directives as a roadmap to develop basketball at the administrative and technical level.
