MCOT, FTI join forces on industrial news dissemination

BANGKOK, July 17 (TNA) - MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT), a most established Thai media firm, has joined forces with the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) to disseminate industrial news and information to the public and entrepreneurs. MCOT President Khematat Paladej (เขมทัตต์ พลเดช ) and FTI Board Chair Jen Namchaisiri (เจน นำชัยศิริ ) signed an agreement on the cooperation at MCOT head office in Bangkok on Monday. Under the agreement, both MCOT and FTI will jointly produce quality TV programs to serve the public, covering those on industrial technologies, innovation, community and social responsibility and environment protection. Jen said the cooperation between MCOT and FTI is aimed to provide proper and relevant information and promote sound understanding on the industrial sector to the public and business operators. Besides, the cooperation will promote information sharing precisely and timely to boost confidence in the Thai industrial sector among business operators, while also promoting sound image on the Thai industry and driving forward the national economy. The FTI board chair noted that the agreed cooperation is in line with the government's Thailand's 4.0 policy and the FTI's Industry 4.0 policy. The MCOT-FTI industrial programs are expected to be first on air on MCOT HD channel 30 in October-November 2017. (TNA)
