New Kind of Beer Produced in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- The Taedonggang Beer Factory in the DPRK recently began producing wheat beer. In this regard, Han Hyong Chol, a department head of the factory, told KCNA: The first sale of wheat beer will be made at the upcoming 2nd Pyongyang Taedonggang Beer Fest. The beer, brewed from barley and wheat, is a top-fermented one peculiar in flavor and taste and expected to get popular at the fest. -0-
