Botanical Dictionary Compiled in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- Botanists of the DPRK newly compiled the two-volume "Dictionary of Systematic Botanical Names". Carried in the dictionary are myriads of names of seed plants and spore-bearing plants, grouped into genera and species, in five languages together with their botanical names. According to Prof. and Dr. Ri Yong Jae, a researcher of the Botany Institute of the State Academy of Sciences, the dictionary is worthy of national treasure as it is not a multilingual one merely for plant names, but an all-inclusive botanical dictionary of new type. -0-
