Government, MCOT ready for fund raising event to help flood victims

BANGKOK, Aug 4 (TNA) -- The Office of the Prime Minister and MCOT Plc will jointy organise a fund-raising event to help flood victims in the North and the Northeast on Aug 4. The “Pracharat Ruamjai” event was set at Government House to raise donations to help flood victims. Donations can be transferred to the account number 067-0-06895-0 of Krungthai Bank’s Government House branch. Besides, donors can contact a hotline number 02-356-0303 to arrange for their assistance. The event was set at 6pm-7.30pm and will be presided over by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha. The event will be live televised through Channel 9 MCOT HD and all other media platforms of MCOT. Channel 5 of the Royal Thai Army as well as TV and radio channels of the Public Relations Department will also give live coverage of the event. Donors can present donation receipts to deduct their taxable income by 1.5 times of their donations. (TNA)
