Mangosteen Festival held in Nakhon Si Thammarat

NAKHON SI THAMMARAT, Aug 23 (TNA) -- Nakhon Si Thammarat province hosted a trade fair of mangosteen, boasting incredible benefits of the fruit dubbed the Queen of Fruits. Mangosteen Fruitival 2017 was kicked off on Tuesday to showcase sweet and tangy fruit widely grown in the southern Thai province. Several villages and plantation present their produce at the eight-day fair. Also referred to as the Food of the Gods, mangosteen is delicious, juicy and rich in health benefits such as anti-oxidant and immunity boost. Other farm produce of Nakhon Si Thammarat from durian to pamelo are on display along with traditional handicrafts of rural villages. (TNA)
