Executive-Legislative cooperation praised

Manama, Aug. 27 (BNA): Parliament Affairs Minister Ghanim bin Fadhul Al Buainain today received Member of the Parliamentary Committee on Public Utilities and the Environment, Adel Abdulrahman Al Assoumi. They reviewed the role of Parliament in monitoring citizens’ services needs as well as suggestions by MPs aimed to develop efficient service projects in various sectors. The minister praised the Al Assoumi’s representing Bahrain at various regional and international functions, notably after his election as Deputy Speaker of the Arab Parliament. The MP praised the government’s cooperation in adopting their suggestions and ideas of lawmakers that contribute in the interest of the citizens, citing the minister’s role in the interaction between the Executive and the Legislative Branches.
