Ajman Award for Government Performance Excellence Award launched
Ajman, Feb 17, 2009 (WAM) - Ajman launched yesterday its first award programme for government performance excellence.
Launching the award at a ceremony attended by representatives of various government departments in the emirate, the Secretary General of the Ajman Executive Council Saeed Saif Al Matroushi said that the award aims to enhance the performance of the emirate's government departments and to inspire and support them for achieving the best standards.
The Award will also reinforce cooperation among various departments and will work as a guidance reference and criteria for evaluating the individual performances of the local government departments.
Chief coordinator of the Ajman Award for Government Performance Excellence Award Programme Sultan Faisal Al Rumaithi said that the awards will be classified into three categories.
