BEST ARTWORKS TO BE BOUGHT TO STATE FUND

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Best artworks-2017 exhibition has opened in the Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery (MNMAG). The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sciences and Sports, the Culture and Art Department and the MNMAG are hosting the exhibition to select best artworks to buy for the state fund. In accordance with the rule approved by the government regulation, the best artworks will be selected by a professional council. Almost 100 artists are displaying their 135 works in various genres, such as, contemporary painting, Mongol painting, sculpture, carving, handicraft, installation, leather art and smith work. The MNMAG enriches its fund with new artworks every year and plans to conduct exhibition with the selected best works after this exhibition, which will last until October 16. B.Ooluun
