GARUDA TROPHY WINNERS SELECTED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Winners of the Garuda Trophy, prize for the best construction and production in Ulaanbaatar were granted their award on October 30. Over 50 companies and organizations competed for the prize in five categories, namely construction, road construction, factory with advanced technologies, branding and franchising. Construction works with investment of MNT340 billion from the state and the capital budget was completed in 2017, stated Ulaanbaatar city Mayor S.Batbold at the prize winning ceremony. The Milaya Network of the Serj International Company, which has ran activities in food, bakery and trading for 18 years won the Best Branding of the capital prize. The Best Franchising of the capital prize went to the Ulaanbaatar Smart Card company, which has been implementing online payment system project in public transportation of Ulaanbaatar since 2014. Winner of the Best Advanced Factory prize was a paint factory of the Kharaa Sumber company. The factory produces various types of paints, coatings, adhesives and sealants, using German technologies. Main road of Nalaikh district has now 14 meter wide 4 lines and 3 meter wide pedestrian as well as drainage facility and lightings. The Eco Togtol company took the Best Road Construction prize for this renovation of 1.3 km road, which was spent MNT2.8 billion. “Khaan Bank” glass tower, an office and service building, constructed by Khurd group won the Best Construction prize with its appearance and distinctive innovation.
