MONGOLIA-UK ECONOMIC AND TRADE COOPERATION NEED MORE ATTENTION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President Kh. Battulga received a delegation headed by Michael Howard, Lord of Lympne of the House of Lords at the UK Parliament.
The delegation included British MPs John Grogan, David Morris, Adam Holloway, Wayne David and Baroness Scott of Needham Market.
President Kh.Battulga mentioned that the two countries established diplomatic ties in 1963 and noted, although the bilateral political ties are strong, trade turnover and overall economic interaction is somewhat deficient. The British parliamentary delegation also agreed that the two countries need to pay more attention on deepening economic and commercial cooperation.
The sides further discussed the future perspectives of bilateral relations and other matters.
