DTCM promotes Dubai in Japan

Tokyo - A delegation from Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) met here with a number of officials of the travel and tour sector in Japan and discussed with them ways to boost bilateral visits, conduct joint events and engage in joint promotional projects.
In a statement to WAM, The Director of DTCM's Operations and Marketing Section, Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb, said they had met with officials of a number of tourism companies and local media and discussed with them issues related to tourism in the UAE, in general and Dubai, in particular, adding that the discussions centred on the best way to boost tourism in Dubai through the increase in the number of Japanese tourists to Dubai during the Summer and the various shopping festivals being held in the UAE. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
