Abolition of Past Guarantees Japan's Future: Minju Joson
Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- A statue of sexual slave for the Imperial Japanese Army was erected in Manila recently, as the first one in the Philippines. The chief Cabinet secretary of Japan at a press conference expressed deep regret over the erection of the statue in Manila and said it is quite contrary to the stand of Japan.
Commenting on this, Minju Joson Monday terms it shameless words which can be uttered only by the Japanese reactionaries ill famed for moral vulgarity and accustomed to arrogant acts.
Japan's shameless acts over the erection of the statue can never be tolerated as it is little short of pointing a finger at an object to whom it has to bow down and ask for apology.
Japan is gravely mistaken if it thinks the international community would connive at its hideous crimes against humanity and tolerate its unwarranted acts.
The Japanese reactionaries' acts of evading the abolition of the past while going against the trend of the times and having an axe to grind will only bring it international denunciation, diplomatic isolation and greater indignation of the Asian people at it.
The abolition of the past is indispensable for Japan itself. Japan can never hew out its future with its past error covered.
The Japanese reactionaries should behave, pondering over the consequences to be entailed by their act of avoiding the abolition of the past. -0-
