Letter to Kim Jong Un from General Association of Koreans in China

Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un received a letter from the General Association of Koreans in China on December 24, the centenary of birth of anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk. The letter praised Kim Jong Suk as a prominent woman revolutionary, anti-Japanese war heroine and mother of the revolution who protected President Kim Il Sung politically, ideologically and at the risk of her life and dedicated her all to the liberation of the country and accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche. Kim Jong Suk held a weapon in her arms and turned out in death-defying resistance war against the Japanese imperialists. She earned fame as the woman commander of the guerillas striking terror into the enemy hearts with her prominent marksmanship and superb tactics during the anti-Japanese war, the letter said, and went on: She brought up leader Kim Jong Il to be the Shining Star of Mt Paektu and thus provided a solid guarantee for carrying forward generation after generation the revolutionary cause of Juche started in Mt Paektu. This is the greatest exploit she performed for the country and the nation. Brief as her life was, she will always be remembered by the Korean people as she set a noble example as a great revolutionary before the country and its people, the times and history.
