BAYAN MONGOL JAZZ ORCHESTRA TO PERFORM FILM SCORES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Bayan Mongol Jazz Orchestra of the State Philharmonic will stage a concert named Movie Swing on January 19. The first of a series of upcoming anniversary concerts, the Movie Swing concert will entertain the audiences with popular scores for films such as James Bond, Rocky, Mission Impossible, Brigada and Operation Y and Shurik's Other Adventures. The concert will be conducted by State Foremost Artist S.Saruul-Od, featuring soloists N.Naranbaatar, Ts.Khulan, B.Delgerbayar and T.Otgonbayar. Jazz music was introduced to Mongolia with the Bayan Mongol Orchestra’s first concert played in 1968 and conducted by State Honored Cultural Figure, composer T.Chimeddorj. Kh.Aminaa
