PRIME MINISTER U.KHURELSUKH DEPARTS TO VISIT THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh departed this morning to pay an official visit to the Republic of Mongolia at an invitation of his counterpart Lee Nak-yeon on January 15-17. The visit aims to hold talks on strengthening political trust, augmenting bilateral trade turnover, investment, soft loan and non-refundable assistance, and facilitating traveling conditions of citizens within the framework of developing comprehensive partnership relations with ‘third neighbor’ the Republic of Korea. The parties also exchange views on interested regional and international matters. Within a scope of the visit, a soft loan agreement will be signed between the Governments of the two countries, alongside the cooperation documents to be established by the Ministries of Labor and Social Protection. During the visit, the PM U.Khurelsukh will pay a courtesy call on President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in and hold an official talk with his counterpart Lee Nak-yeon. Moreover, it is planned to meet with some members of the National Assembly and Government of the country, attend the Mongolia-Korea Business Forum and meet with Mongolians living in the country. M.
