COUNCIL FOR EARTHQUAKE PREVENTION HOLDS REGULAR MEETING

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ The Mongolian Permanent Council for Earthquake Disaster Prevention (MPCEDP) held its regular meeting on January 17. At the meeting, the MPCEDP discussed its plan of actions for 2018 and issues to be on attention. Moreover, they reviewed progress of actions, such as re-planning of buildings in Ulaanbaatar city, which are susceptible to earthquake, assessment on the state of earthquake-proof of apartment buildings, certification of buildings and facilities, results of inspections to the quality and safety of kindergarten, school, hospital, theatre, cultural center and museum buildings, as well as others.
