Sharjah Ruler receives Zanzibari President

SHARJAH, 24th January, 2018 (WAM) -- H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, today received the President of Zanzibar, Dr. Ali Mohamed Shein, and his accompanying delegation. H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, were also present. During the meeting, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan welcomed President Shein and discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. He also reviewed means of strengthening cooperation and interdependence between the two countries, especially in culture, economy and development, to serve the interests of both countries and peoples. President Shein expressed his appreciation to the Ruler of Sharjah for his hospitality, and praised the cultural renaissance witnessed by the emirate in various fields, especially education and knowledge. The meeting was attended by a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
