Electricity Minister receives outgoing Japanese ambassador

Manama, Jan. 27 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received outgoing Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Kiyoshi Asako and praised strong relations between the two friendly countries. These relations, he said, are reinforced by cooperation in various fields, especially in electricity, water and renewable energy. Dr. Mirza also spoke of developing ties between the two countries, especially after the visit by His Majesty the King to Japan. He lauded the ambassador’s efforts to strengthen bonds between Bahrain and Japan during his tenure. The ambassador expressed his country's readiness to enhance cooperation in the fields of electricity, water and renewable energy in a way that serves the interests and aspirations of both countries.
