Khalid bin Hamad's humanitarian initiatives praised

Manama, Jan. 29 (BNA): Media figures responded to the initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association, Honorary President of Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation, by allocating the proceeds of #Strongest-Bahraini-Man championship to support cancer patients. Chairman of Bahraini Journalists Association and chief editor of "Al-Bilad" daily, Moeness El Mardy, said that the initiatives of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, has its enlightening and wide ranging view. He indicated to His Highness initiative by allocation the proceeds of Strongest Bahraini Man to support cancer patients, and confirmed that this championship will not have only a sport effect but also a humanity effect which proves that His Highness is the pioneer in the field of supporting youths, sports and humanity by his efforts, deeds and initiatives. El Mardy said: "Spending the incomes of the championship on cancer patients will please their hearts,whom we ask Allah for them to be recovered". He added that His Highness initiatives covered other fields as well such as, philanthropic and, humanitarian purposes, culturally, and academically. He also said that the Newspaper of "Al-Bilad" will give a big and long space for covering the championship in order to contribute in the success of it, and for its many good results and the main one is granting the youths
