Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Marked in Egypt

Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- An Egyptian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il was formed on Jan. 17. Yehia Zakaria Khairullah, vice-chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt and chairman of the Egypt-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from Jan. 17 to Feb. 16 and decided to hold a seminar, a film show, a photo exhibition and other political and cultural events praising Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits in the period. -0-
