Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Sweden

Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A Swedish preparatory committee for celebrating leader Kim Jong Il's birth anniversary (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Stockholm on Jan. 19. Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, and Oskar Molleby, chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, were elected co-chairmen of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events in praise of Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits. -0-
