HRH Premier receives Philippines ambassador

Manama, Feb. 11 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today the Philippines Ambassador to Bahrain Alfonso Ferdinand. HRH Premier lauded the strong bilateral relations and mutual keenness to bolster cooperation in various political, economic, commercial and investment fields. He also praised contribution of the Philippine community in Bahrain to the kingdom’s development, expressing keenness on more cooperation between the two friendly countries in the future. He stressed the government’s keenness to provide every care for the Philippine community and guarantee their rights in appreciation of their role in the kingdom’s growth. The ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier for his directives and for the systems and laws provided to ensure good treatment and stability of the Philippine labour force. He also lauded Bahrain’s development at all levels, stressing keenness of his country to boost bilateral cooperation.
