Permanent mission at UN celebrates Bahrain Sports Day

New York, Feb. 14 (BNA): Bahrain’s Permanent Mission at the United Nations in New York marked Bahrain Sports Day by prganising various sports activities for its personnel, including jogging and brisk walking, with the participation of the Permanent Representative Jamal Faris Al Rowaie. February 13 is annually marked as Bahrain Sports Day following the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, and with the support of the Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The decision and support reflect the leadership’s keenness on the citizens' health and safety.
