'Morocco in Abu Dhabi' to open in March

ABU DHABI, 28th February, 2018 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi, is hosting "Morocco in Abu Dhabi 2018" from March 6th to 19th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), to strengthen the historical ties between the UAE and the Kingdom of Morocco. Morocco in Abu Dhabi 2018 offers visitors an opportunity to explore Morocco's rich cultural heritage in architecture, music, art, and cuisine, in addition to customs, traditions, fashion and a Moroccan Heritage Museum. This year's event celebrates innovative and creative youths, adding to the platform a flair of evolution and modernity reflecting the creative minds and worlds of the younger generation: the 'Design and Youth Gallery' is inspired by traditional architecture as a place of artistic expression. The event will also celebrate the best of Islamic architectural art which has progressed in Morocco more than anywhere else in the Arab world. The country has preserved a rich and artistic heritage and maintained its position as the primary hub of Andalusian architecture, one of the main components of Islamic art for more than six centuries. Moroccan music will also feature with traditional, spiritual, and tribal rhythms, as well as handicrafts and traditional artisanal expertise.
