YOUNG CHESS PLAYER M.YALGUUN BECOMES ASIAN CHAMPION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Six years old Mongolian chess-player M.Yalguun became the winner in rapid category and bronze medalist in blitz category in the 2018 Asian Youth Rapid and Blitz Championship in Chiangmai, Thailand, concluded on April 9. This year, about 600 young chess players from 26 countries challenged their minds in the Championships. Additionally, M.Yalguun brought national gold medal to Khovd province for the first time in 17 years from the 2018 National Youth Chess Championship named after the Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports.
