‘ULAANBAATAR GARUDA’ TAKES 3RD PLACE IN NANJING CHALLENGER

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Mongolia’s basketball team ‘Ulaanbaatar Garuda’ took 3rd place in the Nanjing Challenger, held on April 21-22 in Nanjing, China. With this achievement, 'Ulaanbaatar Garuda' has been qualified to compete in Chengdu Masters to be organized in September 29-30 In Chengdu, China. In the semi-final match, ‘Ulaanbaatar Garuda’ was defeated by Russia’s ‘Moscow’ team which won Serbian famous team ‘Novi Sad’ in the quarter-final and it led ‘Ulaanbaatar Garuda’ to be ranked at 3rd. Representing Mongolia, two teams ‘Ulaanbaatar Garuda’ and ‘Khovd’ competed in the 3x3 Challengers –FIBA World Tour. In Nanjing Challenger, Mongolia’s second team ‘Khovd’ took the 7th place. Now, Mongolian basketball players are preparing to take part in the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2018 on April 29-May 1 in Shenzhen, China. M.Unurzul
