FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTRY HOSTING INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ The International Cooperation Foundation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Diplomatic Academy are co-organizing an international conference ‘Developing decision-making mechanism in foreign policy: Example of Mongolia’ on April 25-26 in Ulaanbaatar. The two-day conference brings together over 100 foreign and domestic participants, including parliamentarians, diplomats, scholars, experts and civil society representatives. During the conference, key presentations are given on international theory and practice about the process and mechanism of making foreign policy and how to develop the mechanism. Alongside, open discussions will be conducted amongst the participants. Parliamentarians and high-level officials of the Foreign Affairs Ministries of Asian countries that are interested in Mongolia’s experience to develop democracy and good governance and cooperate with the International Cooperation Foundation in particular Afghanistan, Bhutan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos and others are attending the international conference. They will give detailed information on foreign policy mechanisms of their countries and mutually share experiences.
