BUILDING INSULATION MATERIALS MADE FROM SHEEP WOOL TO BE EXPORTED TO JAPAN

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Department of Light Industrial Technology and Engineering of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology established an agreement to export textile products and building insulation materials made from sheep wool to Japan. Sheep wool has a hollow inside it and therefore it has high quality of insulation from sound, heat and moisture due to air in the hollow. “Since 2012 we have been making experiments on producing consumer products and knitted and textile goods by sorting cashmere from wool. It is possible to make value added luxury products and threads. School of Technology in Darkhan aimag is producing wool insulation materials.
