Construction of Hyesan-Samjiyon Railway Nears Completion

Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- The Hyesan-Samjiyon railway construction progresses apace at the final stage in the DPRK. According to an official concerned, trial running is being successfully conducted. It has been carried out to inspect every part of structures like stations, auxiliary buildings and dwelling houses for railway workers as part of efforts to perfect them. And it has been pushed forward to modernize railway between Rimyongsu Youth Railway Station and Samjiyonmotka Railway Station, along with such projects as building parks, planting trees and sprucing up the surroundings. -0-
