National Sci-Tech Presentation in Field of Nature Conservation

Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation in the field of nature conservation took place at the People's Palace of Culture here on Wednesday. Officials concerned, scientists, technicians and teachers in the field of nature conservation attended the presentation, at which Kim Song Nam, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Nature Conservation Union of Korea, made an opening address. At least 280 valuable papers, selected at the provincial sci-tech presentations, were presented to it, divided into such various panels as land protection, environment protection, management of water resources, protection of marine resources and protection of underground resources. -0-
