ULAANBAATAR CITY’S CLIMATE RESILIENCE DISCUSSED

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ On May 29, J.Batbayasgalan, Deputy Mayor of UIaanbaatar in charge of Green Development and Air Pollution met Anna Wellenstein, Urban and Disaster Risk Practice Manager at World Bank Group. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on Ulaanbaatar city-World Bank’s further cooperation in improving the climate resilience and Ulaanbaatar city’s resilience to the disaster. At the end of the meeting, they decided to involve Mongolia’s corresponding municipal officials in a methodical and practical workshop meeting on attracting private investment to climate resilient cities projects which will be organized in Bangkok, Thailand on July 9-13.
