MONGOLIA-TAIWAN COOPERATION IN HEALTH SECTOR INTENSIFIES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ceremony of launching NTUH-HOPE 2018 program of cooperation between State Central Third Hospital named after P.N.Shastin and National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) took place on June 26. During the opening ceremony, NTUH and State Central Third Hospital signed a cooperation agreement. "The health sector is a unique sector, which knows no boundaries between countries. I offer deep gratitude to the NTUH for their support in empowering Mongolian physicians for many years," said deputy head of State Central Third Hospital S.Narantsetseg. CEO of the International Medical Service Center at NTUH Chia-Yu Chu, who led the delegation, said, "We are implementing the program for the 9th year. Within the framework of the program, we have been providing Mongolian physicians, medical specialists and nursing specialists with qualification trainings in Taiwan and conducting on job trainings upon the requests from our partner hospitals. This year, we are providing training on cardiovascular disease. Next year marks 10th anniversary of the joint program” Under the Mongolia-Taiwan's International Health Cooperation Program, NTUH has established ties and cooperation with State Central First and Second Hospital, State Central Third Hospital, National Center for Maternal and Child Health, National Cancer Center and National Center for Communicable Disease.
