Delegation from Saint-Petersburg arrives in Osh within culture-business mission

Osh, Aug. 14, 2018. / Kabar/. A delegation from Saint-Petersburg under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of the Education Committee of Saint-Petersburg, A. A. Borschevsky, arrived in Osh within the framework of culture-business mission and development of brotherly relations. The delegation includes representatives of executive bodies of State authority, Committee for External Relations of Saint-Petersburg, business community, as well as the Entrepreneurship Development Promotion Association, cultural workers and artists, representatives of medical institutions and creative groups, who will hold meetings, round-tables for discussing cooperation in the field of expanding trade and economic collaboration, education and medicine. In the framework of events for exchanging experience and developing bilateral relations, the delegation is to visit cultural places in the city, take part in culture-business events. In addition, general practitioners are to hold meetings with their counterparts from medical institutions of Osh and deliver medical services free of charge. The cities of Osh and Saint-Petersburg have been twin cities since February, 2004, when an agreement on establishing brotherly relations was signed between Osh Mayor’s Office and Saint-Petersburg Government.
