Event dedicated to establishment of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan takes place in Bishkek

Bishkek, Sept. 27, 2018. /Kabar/. An event was held in Bishkek, on Wednesday, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, as well as on the occasion of the Independence Day of Uzbekistan. Many honorable guests, officials, cultural and business figures gathered at the event. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Komil Rashidov delivered a welcoming speech. "Thanks to the political role and joint efforts of the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the relationship between the two states has become more trustful and favorable conditions have been created for deepening fruitful and constructive cooperation between the two countries in all spheres. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Thanks to the political will and concrete practical steps, the two countries brought bilateral relations to the level of strategic partnership, laid a solid foundation of mutual trust,” Rashidov said. State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Omokeev expressed words of congratulation. "We heartily congratulate the friendly people of Uzbekistan on the 27th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
