The press service of the Ministry reported that on October 1, 2018, a conference on the modern approach to the prevention of nosocomial infections in medical institutions was held in Bishkek. About 200 people from among the heads of health organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic, epidemiologists and endoscopists and others took part in it. “I came to report on the experience of the Russian Federation in combating many diseases, including those transmitted in medical institutions, and to report on the scientific achievements that exist in the international community exclusively on the prevention of infections associated with the provision of medical care and its main directions, such as hand hygiene of medical personnel and epidemiological safety of endoscopic interventions,” a leading researcher at Moscow Research Institute Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Gabrievsky, Federal Supervisory Service for Consumer Rights and Human Welfare Tatyana Grenkova told. Erkin Checheybaev said that the passage of the scientific and practical experience of the Russian Federation to Kyrgyz health workers is very helpful, because there are very serious problems in Kyrgyzstan with various diseases and in order to cope with them, it is necessary to apply very serious measures, including epidemiological ones. “The approach to the prevention of nosocomial infections should be modern and, in addition, it should be a fight, most importantly, the protection of medical staff with modern disinfectants.
