V IMPULSE international theatre festival in Bishkek

Bishkek, Oct. 2, 2018. /Kabar/. The 5th International Theater Festival will be held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan on the stage of the Bishkek City Drama Theater named after Umuraliev on October 9-13, Head of the literary and dramatic department of the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Maldybaeva Elena Myagkova told.
She said that the current festival of theatrical art will be held within the framework of significant anniversary events - the 25th anniversary of the Bishkek City Drama Theater named after Umuraliev and the 85th anniversary of the birth of outstanding actor, founder of the theater, People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan Asanbek Umuraliev.
The main goal of the IMPULSE International Festival is integration of Kyrgyz theater art into the world space, to conduct a dialogue among the participants of the festival, to initiate the creation of intercultural projects, to present to the audience new trends in theatrical art. The festival will be attended by highly professional and talented figures of dramatic arts from around the world. The festival program will feature various theaters and theater schools with master classes in directing and acting. At the end of the festival a round table will be organized.
Expert group of the festival:
- Nina Mazur - theater critic, Vice-President of the monodirection of the World Institute of ITI Theater under UNESCO (Germany);
- Bekpulat Parmanov - People's Artist of Kazakhstan, director (Kazakhstan);
- Sania Kabdiyeva - theater critic, professor, head of Department of Theater Studies of the Zhurgenov Academy of Theatrical Arts, Honored Worker of Culture of Kazakhstan (Kazakhstan);
- Aigul Umuralieva, theater critic, Artistic Director of the Bishkek City Drama Theater named after Umuraliev, honored cultural worker of Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyzstan);
- Sukhrob Mirzoev - Director of the State Youth Theater named after Vakhidov (Tajikistan);
- Kamariddin Artykov - theater critic (Uzbekistan).
