Boosting local industries' role urged

Manama, Mar. 24 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today members of the royal family and officials and discussed with them local issues. He stressed the need for local industries to play a bigger role in boosting the national economy, pointing out the government's efforts to promote the local industries and enhance their contribution to economic development. HRH the Premier urged to continue bolstering industrial development to further promote the kingdom's status regionally and internationally. He also affirmed the government's unflinching keenness on optimising health services for citizens who are considered as the most precious assets of the nation. HRH the Prime Minister discussed with the audience the government's projects which aim to achieve citizens' aspirations. He pointed out keenness to ensure sufficient services are provided nationwide in order to further boost citizens' welfare.
