Parliamentary committee backs national plan

Manama, Mar.30 (BNA): The Parliamentary Committee for Foreign Affairs Defence and National Security backed efforts to to strengthen community partnership and maintain the security and stability of the homeland. Chaired by Mp. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sisi Al-Bouainain, the panel expressed support to the national plan aimed at consolidating the spirit of patriotism. It commended the Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa who launched the initiative to bolster national security and stability, and cement national unity and social fabric in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The committee pledged to spare no efforts under the dome of the parliament to laws that bolster national security and stability, protect the homeland and citizens and preserve achievements and gains the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. It paid tribute to HM the King for promoting loyalty, patriotism, consolidating the values of the citizens and disseminating tolerance and moderation nationwide.
