Bahrain's support to Palestinian people's legitimate rights reiterated

Manama, Apr. 2 (BNA): Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)'s Assistant Undersecretary for GCC and Arab Affairs, Yusuf Mohamed Abdullah Jameel, has participated in the 43rd Commemoration of Land Day held by the Embassy of Palestine. The assistant undersecretary delivered a speech in which he affirmed that the Palestinian cause is a priority for the Kingdom’s foreign policy and a central cause for the Arab nation. He also affirmed that the Kingdom would exert all efforts in supporting the Palestinian cause. He reiterated the Kingdom’s firm stance of supporting the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights, and its solidarity with Palestinians in realizing their aspirations and safeguarding the inalienable rights. He also reviewed the relevant resolutions of international legitimacy, including Security Council resolutions on the two-state solution and the Arab Peace Initiative 2002. Palestinian Ambassador to Bahrain Taha Abdul Qader, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al Shaikh and other diplomats, ambassadors and officials participated.
