Commander-in-chief inspects BDF units

Manama, Apr. 4 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, today paid inspection visits to a number of BDF units, where he was briefed about their training programmes, as well as combat preparedness and administrative readiness. The commander-in-chief stressed that thanks to the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, the BDF will remain the bulwark of the nation, and the fortified shield of brotherly countries. Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed affirmed that the BDF is making steadfast steps towards military, administrative and scientific progress, and that it will continue providing its units and sections with the latest hi-tech military system so as to carry on performing its patriotic duties and military tasks to the fullest.
