Shura Chairman congratulates Yemeni Speaker

Manama, Apr.13 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh sent a cable of congratulations to new Yemeni Parliament President Sultan Al-Burkani on his election. He said that the Shura Council will spare no efforts to support the sovereignty, security and stability of Yemen as well as the safety of its people and national territorial integrity. He reiterated support to the legitimate leadership of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the representation of the legitimate Yemeni Parliament in regional and international parliamentary unions. He underlined the keenness of the Shura Council on bolstering parliamentary cooperation between the two brotherly countries and peoples, wishing Al-Burkani success in his role as speaker.
