Leadership congratulated on advent of Eid Al-Fitr

Manama, Jun. 2 (BNA): The Shura Council extended at the outset of its meeting today deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier on the advent of Eid Al-Fitr, wishing Bahrain as well as the Arab and Islamic nations more progress and prosperity. The Shura Council meeting convened today under the Chairmanship of Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, in the presence of First Deputy Chairman Jamal Mohammed Fakhro, Second Deputy Chairperson Hala Ramzi Fayez, Heads of the committees, the council’s Secretary General and the Legal Advisor. The meeting reviewed the circular issued by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Head of the Civil Service Bureau, regarding the voluntary retirement programme. The council underlined the objectives to be achieved by the programme, being one of the initiatives of the Fiscal Balance Programme. It also discussed organizational and administrative issues aimed at improving performance of the Secretariat General staff.
