Southern Governor chairs Security Committee meeting

Manama, Jun. 2 (BNA): Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa chaired the Security Committee meeting, in the presence of officers from the Southern Governorate Police Directorate and representatives of the General Traffic Directorate, the General Civil Defence Directorate and the Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID). The Southern Governor welcomed the audience, lauding cooperation between the directorates of the Interior Ministry and the Southern Governorate to boost security, safety and partnership between all parties. He got informed about the comprehensive security plan of the Southern Police Directorate in preparation for Eid Al-Fitr. The committee also discussed security needs raised by citizens and a task force was formed from the governorate and the police directorate to submit recommendations on catering to citizens’ aspirations. The audience expressed thanks to the Southern Governor for continuous coordination to ensure people’s safety and work out joint security schemes.
