GCC Chief receives BACA director-general

Riyadh, June 19 (BNA): Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani received Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) director-general for Culture and Arts Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa and reviewed preparations undertaken by the GCC General-Secretariat to take part in Expo 2020 Dubai. Dr. Alzayani commended BACA-led efforts in the Kingdom of Bahrain to ensure the GCC positive participation in the upcoming global exhibition to reflect the march of joint cooperation and highlight heritage and cultural achievements and monuments. The meeting was attended by the GCC director-general of the Economic and Development Affairs Khalid Al-Sheikh, GCC Pavilion general-commissioner in Expo 2020 Dubai and Bahrain National Theatre director Hani Jamal.
