HRH the Crown Prince meets UAE’s Minister of State for Financial Affairs and Minister of State, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Global Market

Manama, June 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met with the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Minister of State for Financial Affairs, HE Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer and the Minister of State to the UAE, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Global Market, HE Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, on the side-lines of the Peace to Prosperity Workshop, which is hosted in partnership with the United States. During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the longstanding ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE, which continue to thrive under the leadership of His Majesty, King Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa, and President of the UAE, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. HRH the Crown Prince emphasised the Kingdom’s commitment to further bolstering cooperation across all fields in order to realise shared sustainable development goals, and welcomed the support provided by the UAE in this regard. For their part, their Excellencies expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH the Crown Prince, and welcomed His Royal Highness role in deepening Bahrain-UAE ties, wishing the Kingdom continued prosperity. The Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
