Foreign Ministry Undersecretary receives Managing Director of UK CMEC

Manama, June 27 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, received a British delegation, headed by former Member of Parliament and Managing Director of the Conservative Middle East Council (CMEC), Charlotte Leslie, and Member of the Conservative Party in the United Kingdom, Skandar Keynes. Dr. Shaikha Rana reviewed the path of the close relations between Bahrain and the UK, and ways to strengthen them in all fields of cooperation and joint coordination to achieve the aspirations of both countries. The Undersecretary praised the initiatives and programs launched by CMEC, and noted its great role is implementing laws and penalties to ensure the establishment of effective institutions that are capable of strengthening the rule of law and achieving justice, wishing the UK further success. CMEC Managing Director expressed her pride in the strong relations between the Kingdom and the UK, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
