Chavez: IMF should be eliminated

Tehran, April 4, IRNA - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said here Friday that the International Monetary Fund should be eliminated because of its imperialistic nature.

?The London G20 summit decided to promote the International Monetary
Fund, while the fund should be removed because it is imperialistic,?
Chavez told the ceremonies to inaugurate the Irano-Venezuela joint bank.

Calling the inauguration of the bank a ?historical incident?, Chavez
said the G20 summit ended in vain and the participants failed to find
a solution to the global problems, especially the capitalism crisis.

He said the westerners in the session decided to prescribe the same
medicine they give to a dying patient and inject huge amount of money
to a deep well.

He added that the summit decided to revive the free market regulations
and the tools are the same imperialist ones.

?Any thing has an end and we say now that imperialism is collapsing
and another world should be built on its ruins,? he said.

?Here, Iran and Venezuela have a solution to promote their economies
and the inauguration of the joint bank is another step towards the
expansion of bilateral relations as well as the progress of the
Islamic revolution and the Bolivarian development,? he added.
